Shraddha Kapoor’s recent visit to Maddock Films’ office in Mumbai on May 26, 2025, sparked a lot of excitement and rumours about a potential new project. According to a report by Pinkvilla, the actress was there for a creative meeting with producer Dinesh Vijan, hinting at an exciting collaboration ahead.

An industry source revealed, “Shraddha Kapoor met with Dinesh Vijan, and they were later joined by Laxman Uttekar, the director of Chhaava.”

According to the insider, the meeting was more than just informal—it included a story narration that impressed Shraddha. “Laxman and Shraddha talked over a script, which she really liked and has given her initial approval to. If all goes smoothly, Shraddha Kapoor is set to lead Laxman Uttekar’s next film following Chhaava.”

The new project is said to be adapted from a well-known Marathi novel and will feature Shraddha in a role deeply connected to cultural roots. The source added, “All other details are kept under wraps for now. There is a possibility of an A-List male lead also to come onboard the film.”

Although discussions are still in the initial phase, the likelihood of this collaboration moving forward is high. Shraddha has maintained a strong professional relationship with Maddock Films, making a reunion quite probable. The source further stated, “Dinesh Vijan is presently on a dream run, and is looking to create content that breaks away from the trends. Dinoo, along with Laxman Uttekar have pitched a subject to Shraddha, that they truly believe in and is deep rooted in the Maharashtrian culture.”

Meanwhile, Maddock Films is preparing several other big projects. Besides this untitled film, Laxman Uttekar and Dinesh Vijan are working on a multi-starrer movie featuring three prominent male leads, with production expected to start between 2026 and 2027.

Producer Dinesh Vijan is currently enjoying tremendous success, having produced two blockbuster films that each grossed over Rs 500 crores. He also plans to expand his horror-comedy franchise, with Thama—featuring Ayushmann Khurrana and Rashmika Mandanna in lead roles—scheduled to hit theatres during Diwali 2025.

Shraddha Kapoor was last seen in Stree 2, a horror-comedy released in 2024. She starred alongside Rajkummar Rao, Abhishek Banerjee, Aparshakti Khurana, and Pankaj Tripathi. Directed by Amar Kaushik, the movie became a massive hit at the box office and went on to become the highest-grossing Hindi film of the year.

There is a buzz all around about Manoj Bajpayee shooting a new film in Bhopal. Not much is known about the project so far. Bollywood Hungama reported about it earlier in the day.

Now, this writer spoke to Manoj about it, and here’s what he shared with him. “It is produced by Neeraj Pandey and Shital Bhatia’s Friday Fireworks. It is a film for Netflix, written and directed by Ritesh Shah. It’s a thriller set in Delhi. Besides this, I can’t tell you more as there is NDA (Non-Disclosure Agreement) with Netflix. I’ve some very talented co-stars Akshay Oberoi, Saqib Saleem, Rajeev Gupta, Divya Dutta,” he said.

When asked what he is playing, Manoj replied. “I am not allowed to disclose that. But yes, it is a character which I have not played before, and also something never seen before. I am very excited.”

Later Akshay sued Paresh for leaving the comic caper.

The journalist happened to mention that a lot of fans feel that Paresh Rawal was foolish to leave the project. On this, Akshay Kumar said, “Firstly, I'll like to tell you that using such kind of word for my co-star, ‘foolish’, is something I'd not appreciate. That's not right. I have been working with him for the last 32 years. We are very good friends. He's a great actor. I really admire him.”

He added, “I don't think this is a place where I am going to talk about it because...it's a very serious matter. It is a matter which is going to be handled by the courts. Hence, I don’t think I am going to speak about it here.”

A woman allegedly entered Bollywood actor Aditya Roy Kapur’s residence in Bandra West without permission, claiming she had brought gifts for him. The incident took place on May 26, while the actor was away for a shoot. According to the reports, the woman has been identified as 47-year-old Gazala Jhakaria Siddique, a resident of Dubai. The actor’s maid, Sangita Pawar, who was alone at the time, filed a complaint at Khar police station.

As per the FIR, the woman rang the doorbell around 6 pm. She asked the maid if it was Aditya Roy Kapur’s home and said she had come to deliver clothes and other gifts for him. Believing her, the maid let her in.

Shortly after, the actor returned home. When informed about the visitor, Aditya told the maid that he did not know her. The woman tried to approach him, which made the actor leave the house and contact the building’s society manager, Jayashree Dunkdu. The society manager quickly informed the actor’s manager, Shruti Rao, who arrived at the scene and called the police. Even after being asked to leave, the woman refused to go and insisted on staying at the actor’s home.

Khar police reached the location and questioned the woman. While she shared her name and said she was from Dubai, she did not clearly explain why she came or how she found the actor’s address.

The police later registered a case under Section 331(2) of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita, which deals with house trespass. Preliminary investigation suggests she entered the actor’s home without permission and may have had criminal intent.

Urvashi Rautela has hit back strongly at criticism aimed at her red-carpet appearance at the Cannes Film Festival 2025. It reads: “A video is going viral on social media in which a Bollywood actor is seen violating traffic rules in the Lahaul-Spiti district. Preliminary findings suggest the video may be from 2023. The investigation to verify its authenticity has been assigned to the DySP Headquarters, Kyelang.” The statement further added, “The district police will take all necessary legal action as required. We urge all citizens and tourists to adhere to traffic regulations and maintain disciplined, responsible conduct.”

As criticism mounted online, social media users began calling out Sonu Sood for his actions. One user commented, "Sir, you've always inspired people with your compassion. Please don’t set a wrong example by riding without a helmet or proper safety gear." The teaser of War 2 gave fans a thrilling glimpse of the face-off between Hrithik Roshan’s R&AW agent Kabir Dhaliwal and Jr NTR’s mysterious antagonist. While the teaser created massive buzz, many fans were left wondering — will there be a dance battle between the two superstars? It turns out, yes — but there was a delay.

The much-anticipated dance-off, originally scheduled to be shot in the first week of March, had to be postponed due to Hrithik Roshan’s leg injury. Now, according to the latest buzz, director Ayan Mukerji is planning to shoot the song in the last week of June.

The track will be filmed at Yash Raj Studios in Andheri, where a huge set is being built. A report by Mid-Day quoted a source close to the production, “The team had been preparing for two months and everything was set for March. But Hrithik's injury forced them to cancel the shoot. Now that he has recovered, both actors will begin rehearsals in the first week of June.”

The shoot is expected to last 10 days and will mark the final schedule of the action-packed spy thriller, which also stars Kiara Advani. The film is set to release in cinemas on August 14, 2025.

The report also added that producer Aditya Chopra and director Ayan Mukerji want the dance number to be a major visual treat. “The setup is grand. The production has sent a circular to all crew members banning phones on set. A 60-member security team has also been hired to prevent leaks,” the source said.

The Sajid Nadiadwala-produced Housefull 5 is the most awaited film of the Hindi Film Industry, and recently, it was revealed that two versions of the Akshay Kumar starrer have been submitted to the Central Board of Film Certification (CBFC). The same raised eyebrows, and the thought behind the two versions have been the discussion point in the digital world.

And now, we have an exclusive scoop that Sajid Nadiadwala's Housefull 5 will release with two versions in cinema halls. "Both versions will have different killers. It's called Housefull 5 and Housefull 5 A. If the killer is X in Housefull 5, the killer would be Y in Housefull 5A. The idea is to evoke repeat watch from the audience, as the last 20 minutes will be an altogether fresh experience, with different tides in comedy. Book My Show will also distinctively list both the versions, to give a clear picture to audiences," a source told Bollywood Hungama.

It's a one-of-its-kind unique strategy, and the entire industry is bullish to see how the audience reacts to the strategy of the same film releasing with two distinctly different climaxes. "This would also lead to more conversation post the film's release, as different set of audiences will get to witness different killers. Only Sajid Nadiadwala could come up with such an innovation," the source tells us further.

Housefull 5 is all set to release on June 6, 2025. The film has the longest ensemble for a Hindi film, with 19 actors coming together for total chaos.

Sandeep Reddy Vanga has stirred the internet with a fiery note on X (formerly Twitter) seemingly directed at an actress who exited his upcoming film Spirit starring Prabhas. While he refrained from naming anyone, fans and industry insiders are convinced the statement was aimed at Deepika Padukone, who was initially roped in as the female lead in the much-anticipated action drama.

A source had revealed to us, “Sandeep Reddy Vanga got the shock of his life when Deepika Padukone refused to shoot for more than 6 hours a day for Spirit. That’s not all, the actress, via her agency, also started to demand an amendment to the contract. Their point of contention was simple—if the shoot extends beyond 100 days, Deepika will have to be paid extra for every single day of shoot beyond the commitment on paper”.
